LOOP OF COLLETTA
ROUTE DETAILS
Loop trail, 390 metres ascent, 390 metres descent, 5.7 km, hiking only. Poles and hiking shoes with ankle support are recommended.
To better face the path are required:

Departure at Bocco (m 1070), 4.1 km from the hotel, which can be reached either by car or on foot following the SP 89 road to Brallo, then the SP 88 road to Bocco. Path 101 begins on the left just past the village. The first stretch, also known as the Hannibal path*, winds its way through beautiful beech woods to the arrival of the disused ski lifts at the Colletta peak (2 km, 1480 m), from where you can enjoy the suggestive views of the Staffora valley and the Trebbia valley.
From here you begin to descend, still following trail 101, and after about 1 km you must take a fork to the left, where you must pay attention as it is not well signposted (109 of the CAI) and is slightly exposed. You then follow the last section of the path that leads back to Bocco.
